About Kathryn

Kathryn is a mother, an advocate, a friend, and a leader. From an early age she developed an appreciation and love for America, and for those who sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy. Kathryn studied political science and music at BYU. After a church mission to Germany, she moved to Washington, DC, where she worked as a Senate Legislative Aide, learning the ins and outs of Congress.

In 2010, Kathryn and her husband Eric moved back to Utah and settled in Draper where they are raising their four children. While Kathryn turned her attention to her children and advocating for them, she continued to be active in the community. She has served for several years on PTA Boards and volunteers regularly in schools and in the community. She also continues to be active in civic causes and to volunteer on political campaigns. Kathryn has been a Republican precinct chair and is currently serving as a Republican state delegate, a position she has held for most of the past 12 years.

Kathryn loves to be outside exploring our beautiful state and especially enjoys hiking and running. Other hobbies include budgeting, enjoying all types of music, traveling, leading her church choir, and playing bingo with her family on Sunday nights.
